The Narrowboat is a family run public house providing restaurant and bed and breakfast facilities.
Brothers Craig and Damian Shakesby extend a warm welcome to all who visit our 17th century inn situated in the heart of Middlewich, Cheshire.
If you like well kept beers and wholesome home cooked food in a relaxed atmosphere then The Narrowboat is the place for you.
It is no coincidence that our pub is named The Narrowboat as it is within easy walking distance of the Trent and Mersey Canal. Middlewich canal basin is at the junction of the Trent and Mersey and the section of canal which forms the link to the Shropshire Union canal.
As you would expect with a building of this age we have our own resident ghost. Don't worry, Patrick is very friendly and maybe after sampling our wares in front of the warm open fire in winter you will see him too!
